The Pet Retreat

The Pet Retreat offers a whole new standard to pet grooming in Cheshire. As well as offering top class cuts delivered by a team of experts, our focus is on the health and wellbeing of your pet and its coat throughout your experience.

Since opening our Knutsford salon in 2015, we’ve been able to deliver our five-star grooming experience to pets across the region. We now have four purpose-built salons, designed with your pet’s comfort and enjoyment in mind.

Whether you’re looking for a breed standard cut, a simple freshen up or you just want to give your pet some pampering, your nearest salon is sure to deliver.

Our Process

Our luxury dog grooming process is designed to deliver on the three most important factors: health, style and enjoyment. We’ll identify any factors affecting your pet’s coat and skin health, give them a trim to dazzle and leave both dog and owner smiling from ear to ear. Here’s how we do it.

 

Consultation

The complimentary consultation enables us to understand what you want and assess your pet's coat and skin health.

Bath

We then start by bathing your dog in a shampoo specially chosen with your pet’s coat and skin type in mind.

Dry

After the bath we then remove the dead hair first using various brushes before blowing drying your pet's hair.

Style

Now it’s onto styling your pet. We can offer breed standard cuts or find a style that suits their personality.

After Care

It doesn't end there. We'll offer you advice on how to care for your pet's coat before their next visit.
